Taka offers workshops for unusual kitchen skills and recipes. Past workshops have included:
California-style Empanada workshop using Yucca Flour and Plant-sourced Color Pigments
Peruvian Classic Stews such as Aguadito, sourced from local Farmer’s Markets
Mysore-style Southern Indian Thali with Chapatis
3-day workshops training in-house cooks
We also offer recipe creation in addition to teaching recipes. Taka specializes in reinventing old world ingredients for modern palettes, such as the Longevity Granola Recipe developed for Surya Spa. We transformed a traditional Chinese congee recipe with an Adzuki & Black Sesame base into a crunchy granola where the taste level equals the health benefits.
